About

Sydney began her yoga journey after sustaining injuries that changed her experience moving through life. Through yoga, Sydney was able to discover a holistic embrace for mind and body on her path to recovery.

Sydney completed her 200-hr training in 2017, received her master’s degree in nursing in 2019, has education in trauma-informed yoga, and completed a 100-hr advanced yoga studies program in the summer of 2021. In addition, she recently completed a 300hr Embody Yoga's Roots teacher training through the Ignite Yoga and Wellness Institute. She is now qualified as a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider through the Yoga Alliance.

The class styles Sydney currently teaches are: Restorative, Yin, Hatha, Gentle, Chair, Vinyasa, Power, and Heated classes. Sydney also leads guided meditation and mindfulness practices. Meditations, yoga nidrā, and sleep aid recordings will soon be available for listening on Insight Timer.

In competitive culture, there can be a tendency to think about the product of your practice rather than the process. Sydney hopes to encourage you to explore and investigate on your own journey in your unique body, practicing in gratitude to the teachers who came before us and gifted us this ancient wisdom that gives us access to tools of awareness.

Book a Session

Group Classes: This session can be utilized for a small group. We can focus on a particular style of yoga or theme. Intended for groups of 10 or less.

Chair Yoga: In this session we will move through poses and mindfulness practices that can be done while sitting in a chair. Intended for groups of 10 or less.

Individual Sessions: Prior to this session, I would like to learn more about you and what you feel would best nourish your yoga practice. If I am able to serve your needs, we will meet one-on-one for your custom session. Individual sessions will be held at M3Yoga, Feel Free Yoga and Wellness, or Revolution Therapy and Yoga.

Events: A session that can be utilized for events like: fundraisers, socials, health/wellness gatherings, conferences, holidays, etc. Intended for groups larger than 10 people.

Workshops: For groups interested in learning more about movement, yoga philosophy, personal wellness, mental health, and more. Workshops are a uniquely customized practice to dive deeper into topics you'd like to explore. Maximum group size 20 people.
